Party Financial Returns
Under Manitoba's Elections Finances Act, in an election year, the CFO of a registered party must file an election financial return with the Chief Electoral Officer in addition to its annual financial return. The election financial return (for parties) reports on the campaign period (i.e. from January 29, 2010 to May 3, 2010). For detailed information about what must be included in the election return, see section 60 of The Elections Finances Act. The election returns must be filed within 4 months of Election Day. Filing deadline for the Concordia by-election is July 2, 2010.
