Important Dates

Manitoba has a set date for general elections, although the law allows for the election to be called before the set date.

Key dates in the election calendar vary depending on whether it is a set date election or other election, for example, a byelection.

The next date set for a provincial general election is October 6, 2020. If the election is called earlier, the key dates in the byelection and other election calendar will be in effect.
