Elections Manitoba has a permanent register of voters for provincial elections, called the Manitoba Voter Register. You only need to register once to be on the voters list for future elections.

To be eligible to vote in a provincial election, you must be:

  • A Canadian citizen
  • At least 18 years old
  • A resident of Manitoba for at least 6 months before the election

Using the online voter registration service, you can:

  • check if you are registered to vote in provincial elections
  • update your information

Elections Manitoba also provides registration service in person and by phone, with proper identification. During an election, voters can register at their local election office or at the voting place.

The voter registration service is now closed for updating. Voters may apply, however, to have their name removed from the register. FIND OUT HOW.
